Brunswick County man pens book, designs curriculum to help students

Marc Papillon knows what it’s like to struggle in school.

Though he was always a good student, in 1970, his family moved from Quebec City to Los Angeles.

“I was mainstreamed into ninth grade not speaking a word of English,” Papillon explained. “And I was a year younger because I had skipped seventh grade in Canada. You talk about a shock to the system.”…
