SAPD: Man hospitalized after aggravated assault involving sharp object

SAN ANTONIO — A man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being injured during an aggravated assault involving a sharp object on the south side of town, according to San Antonio police.

Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of San Casimiro Street around 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 for a reported cutting in progress. A caller told police there was a physical altercation at a residence and that a sharp instrument was involved.

When officers arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with visible lacerations to his upper extremities. Police say the victim told them the fight began during a dispute over the suspect using a vehicle that did not belong to him…
