Sweet Zola’s, a nonprofit candy shop that employs exclusively people with disabilities, will close its doors on Dec. 31 due to financial strain, founder and executive director Cyndy Radovich announced Thursday.
Radovich shared the news in a video posted to Sweet Zola’s Instagram and Facebook accounts, citing a lack of business, rising debt and being unable to keep up with rent.
