A Philadelphia man is now facing charges for a series of robberies across several counties, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Donte Samuel Brown, 45, was indicted on multiple counts, including two counts of robbery, interfering with interstate commerce, use of a firearm during a crime of violence, and bank robbery, as per a superseding indictment announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The indictment charges that Brown carried out a robbery at the Family Dollar in Delaware County on August 15, 2024, a Sunoco gas station in Montgomery County on January 28, 2025, and a TD Bank branch in Delaware County on February 19, 2025. During these alleged incidents, over $8,000 in cash was taken. Brown had been previously indicted in July of this year for the bank and gas station robberies before the most recent charges were added.
If convicted on these charges, Brown could face a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. The case was led by a coordinated effort involving the FBI’s Newtown Square Resident Agency and local law enforcement from East Norriton Township, Ridley Township, and Upper Darby Township police departments.
