Haywood Co. officials advise precautions to protect against freezing temperatures

HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Western North Carolina has been and will remain in extreme cold as the week begins.

The extreme cold means that there are higher possibilities of potential power outages, busted water pipes, and fires related to trying to stay warm.
