Two women and one man from Los Angeles were arrested Dec. 10 on offenses of burglary, identity theft and conspiracy after they allegedly coordinated to steal from a woman in Thousand Oaks and used her credit cards at retail stores, according to authorities.
On Oct. 31 around 11 a.m., deputies responded to a call from a Thousand Oaks grocery store on the 700 block of North Moorpark Road on a wallet being stolen, according to a Ventura County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Deputies found that one suspect distracted a victim while a second suspect “stole the victim’s wallet from her purse that was sitting in the shopping cart the victim was using,” the release said.
