HANOVER, Va. (WWBT) – An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a Saturday night shooting in Mechanicsville.
At about 11:10 p.m., deputies responded to the 7200 block of Bell Creek Road for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an 18-year-old male who had been shot in the parking lot; deputies administered life-saving measures until he could be transported to a hospital, where he underwent surgery and remains in critical condition.
Authorities say an altercation between two groups of males inside the business escalated, with multiple firearms displayed. The confrontation continued into the parking lot, where multiple shots were fired. The suspects fled before deputies arrived and are not believed to be Hanover residents…
