ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – As winter weather continues across the Roanoke Valley, members of Oxford House Chapter 21 stepped up to help neighbors stay warm and fed.
Oxford House is a nonprofit organization of sober living homes, with 15 homes located throughout Roanoke. Chapter 21 includes six of those homes, whose members came together to host a warm meal and clothing giveaway.
“We just wanted to give back to the community that we love,” said Robin Sexton, a member of Oxford House Chapter 21. “We love Roanoke and they’ve done so much for us, so we wanted to give back.”…
