The Green Bay Gamblers continued their strong stretch Friday night, edging the Chicago Steel 3–2 on the road to move into second place in the Eastern Conference.
Green Bay struck first midway through the opening period when Drabicki finished a setup from McKinney and Martin. Chicago answered with two goals just 15 seconds apart late in the first, but the Gamblers responded again before the break as Katz buried a power-play goal to knot it at two.
