An investigation is underway following a fatal fire in North City

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A very busy weekend for St. Louis Firefighters, battling several first alarm fires between Saturday night and Sunday.

The most recent has claimed the life of a person. The fire broke out in a four family apartment building in the 5800 block of Roosevelt. When crews arrived, fire was visible. Fire investigators and the St. Louis Regional Bomb and Arson are investigating, which is routine when there is a fatality.
