The school commemorated the day by opening the doors to the community to see old documents, photos, and former staff members. Former staff members were beaming at all the former students who came to visit them.
“This is a great day to celebrate. It’s fun. That it’s 150 years,” teacher Deanne Alexander said. “I love seeing my former students. It’s great, so many staff, and students, and parents are here. It’s a joyous occasion because we’re a community and it’s a second home.”
