HONOLULU (Island News) — Unsettled weather will be the main theme across Hawaiʻi for much of the coming week, with periods of wind, rain, and rough ocean conditions expected.

While there may be short breaks, the overall pattern favors continued active weather, especially for the western islands.

Today, southerly winds will begin to strengthen, particularly around Kauaʻi, where winds may become strong enough to affect marine activities.
