Person walking on busy Richland County road killed in crash, SC cops say

One person was killed Sunday night in a crash near a popular shopping center in Richland County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The deadly collision happened at about 7 p.m. in the northeast area of Richland County, said Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway.

A pedestrian who was walking on Two Notch Road, near the intersection with Jabay Drive, was hit by a 2025 Toyota Camry, according to Ridgeway. That’s close to the Village at Sandhill shopping center, in the area that’s densely packed with retail businesses and restaurants…
