Laughter, music and holiday cheer filled the Bayfront Convention Center on Sunday as the Barber National Institute hosted its annual Christmas dance for adults with intellectual disabilities.
“I’m having a ball tonight,” said one attendee.
The event had more than 280 adults with disabilities and their families get together for dancing, special refreshments and a holiday coloring wall.
