Man accused of trafficking pounds of meth from Charlotte hotel room: CMPD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A traffic stop in southwest Charlotte led to the arrest of a man accused of trafficking more than three pounds of methamphetamine, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Around 8:15 p.m. on December 4, officers initiated a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Arrowood Road. According to court documents, the owner of the vehicle was shown as having a suspended license.

During the stop, officers found illegal drugs in the possession of the driver and passenger, who admitted to officers that they bought them from 41-year-old David Stout at a nearby hotel…
