Wall collapses at Harrisburg’s Broad Street Market brick building

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A wall has collapsed at the Harrisburg Broad Street Market’s brick building, which was severely damaged by a fire in 2023, according to Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams.

According to Williams, engineers are currently on site to investigate and determine the next steps. Photos shared by the city show a portion of a side wall that collapsed, and the city says no one was injured.

The building has largely been abandoned as city leaders work to fix the historic structure.
