Powering Michigan’s growth with reliable energy

Grand Rapids is one of the fastest growing areas in the Midwest, according to the Grand Rapids Chamber’s State of the Region report, making it a prime candidate for some of the world’s top industries to consider locating here. Data centers, advanced manufacturers and large-scale businesses are fueling that acceleration.

With that tremendous opportunity comes historic energy demand which Consumers Energy stands ready to support. Energy readiness isn’t just important – it’s critical for attracting and retaining investment in our region. Our commitment is simple: we’ll serve Michigan’s growing energy needs for the long haul, so businesses can scale confidently and compete globally. Together, we’re building the energy foundation for the next generation of economic success.

Growth means more opportunities for Michigan families. When businesses grow, families have more choices – better jobs, stronger schools and thriving communities where people want to live and stay.
