KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — City Hills Church wrapped up its annual Christmas Mall this week, turning its building into a shopping-style experience for families needing extra help during the holidays.
Volunteers guided parents through rows of toys and gifts, helping families move from one station to the next. Church leaders said the goal was to create a smooth, supportive experience, especially for parents trying to stretch their budgets this time of year.

Christina Davis, the church’s outreach pastor, said the event has grown significantly since it first began.
“We found over the last eight years we have grown from serving 114 children to serving over 2,100 this year,” Davis said. “We have seen just a tremendous need. Our applications list was so much bigger. This year, we’re feeding more people than we ever have. We’re providing more gifts this year just so that families have a little encouragement and hope and help during the holiday season.”…
