MURFREESBORO, TN – After coming home from school, 15-year old Jaydein Richards was asked to do his homework. Instead of settling in, he refused, grew upset, and ran out of the house. He left behind his phones, a detail that makes his disappearance even more concerning, as it limits his ability to reach out or be contacted.
Jaydein was last seen dressed in all black, carrying a Nike backpack, and wearing his curly afro. His guardian believes he may be heading toward Louisiana, the state he originally called home. That possibility has widened the search beyond Tennessee, making coordination across state lines essential.
Murfreesboro Police have already taken the critical step of entering Jaydein into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). This national database ensures that police agencies across the country are alerted to his missing status. If Jaydein is stopped, identified, or comes into contact with officers anywhere, they will immediately know he is missing and can take steps to reunite him with his guardian.
