Franklin Police Report Busy Two Weeks with Arrests for DUI, Concealed Weapons, and Financial Fraud

The Franklin Police Department shared a summary of incidents and arrests from November 24 to December 7, in a recent social media post. The report highlighted a range of crimes handled by officers during the two-week period, including larceny and financial fraud.

Sergeant Matt Bingham reported ongoing investigations into a failure to return a concrete mixer and a larceny from a business. Officer Jonathan Lauffer handled cases including a vehicle break-in, a $2,000 scam, and the felony larceny of a U-Haul trailer. Officer Taylor Carlton worked on a residential break-in and the theft of a dirt bike and tools, with the dirt bike later recovered.

The department’s Facebook post reported several arrests during this period. Luis Fernando Cruz-Reyes was arrested for driving while impaired, driving without a license, and driving without insurance.
