NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person has died following a house fire Monday morning on Tanglewood Drive in Nashville.
According to the Nashville Fire Department, just after 2 a.m., a person called to report a fire at a neighbor’s house in the 4700 block of Tanglewood Drive, and informed officials that two residents may have been inside.
An NFD spokesperson said the roof of the single story house was engulfed in flames when crews arrived, and it eventually collapsed. Firefighters attempted to find the residents, but were unable to enter the house due to the intensity of the fire. Crews extinguished the fire from outside and the structure was ruled a total loss.
