After months away, a mom-and-pop Italian spot is serving diners again, this time in St. Pete. Circo Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen is now open at 5035 34th Street South in the Skyway Marina District, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Circo became a fast favorite when it opened in Tierra Verde more than four years ago, and it was sorely missed during its months of closure after leaving its original location. The local favorite made its return in November, much to the joy of old regulars and new neighbors alike.
The trattoria’s scratch kitchen is perhaps most well known for its pizzas and baked bread, but the menus showcase plenty more than hand-tossed pies. Offerings run from traditional Italian pastas and salads to huge entrees and classic Italian starters. From burrata or meatballs to Pollo Piccata or margherita pizzas, Circo has it all.
