I agree with letter regarding having permanent table tennis room at Everglades. In fact there should be a permanent facility in every recreation center where there are pickleball courts and other activities. It is beneficial to have an indoor sports activity where we won’t get sun stroke or skin cancer. Hacienda Recreation Center is the only place with a permanent facility although it is called a “multipurpose room.” It has open play everyday which is what we need. Some other recreational centers might only have two tables in a crowded game room or just a couple days of play per week for 3 hours. It’s not as accessible as the outdoor Pickleball courts. So please, let’s add more permanent table tennis facilities to our growing and expanding community!
