Driver flees after crashing into S.F. cable car, injuring 3, officials say

A driver ran away after crashing into a cable car in San Francisco in a wreck that left three adults injured Sunday night, authorities said.

The crash occurred around 7:20 p.m. near Van Ness Avenue and California Street. The three victims were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, San Francisco police and fire officials said.
