Boston, MA – A winter weather pattern taking shape across the eastern U.S. is expected to bring significant snow impacts to New England on Monday, with parts of the region facing hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, lake-effect snow will continue Monday east of Lakes Erie and Ontario, feeding snow bands that extend into portions of New York and northern New England. While the heaviest accumulations are expected closer to the Great Lakes, forecasters warn that snow showers and accumulating snowfall could still impact travel across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine
