BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University will resume its current three-game homestand Monday evening when it hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center. The game tips off at 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Cardinals (3-4, 1-0 SLC) opened the Southland Conference season with a 67-59 win over UT Rio Grande Valley. Three players were in double figures, including Jacei Denley (15), Solenne Olenga (13) and Kamryn Wilson (13), who combined for 41 points. The win marked LU’s ninth consecutive conference-opening win, dating back to the 2016-17 season.
