Keller Donuts and Munchies, a neighborhood favorite that opened in 2015, quietly shut its doors last Monday after ten years serving northeast Fort Worth. The owners said the numbers simply stopped working as sales slid and construction along Keller Hicks Road made it harder for customers to reach the shop.
According to Community Impact, the bakery announced the closure in a Facebook post last Saturday, telling followers that the previous Monday would be its final day in business. In the post, the owners pointed to the long-running road work on Keller Hicks Road, said that sales had been hit hard and wrote that “it is no longer sustainable” to keep the ovens going.
