GoFundMe launched for injured Norman officer hit by car

NORMAN, OKLA. (KOKH) — A GoFundMe has been started to help a Norman Police Officer who was injured in the line of duty on Dec. 11.

Sergeant Justin Hackbarth was outside his patrol unit on Highway 9 around 7:19 p.m. when he was hit by a car. He was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery.

According to the GoFundMe, Hackbarth is an Air Force veteran, a devoted husband, and a proud father of three. He has a long road to recovery, and the GoFundMe will help pay for his medical expenses, family support, and other resources to help him heal…
