LPD: Nearly 90 vehicles towed as part of Lincoln’s nuisance vehicle ordinance since April

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department has impounded nearly 90 vehicles since the nuisance vehicle ordinance went into effect earlier this year.

The law, which allows officers to impound vehicles involved in street racing and reckless driving, went into effect on April 15.

Since then, LPD said it has deemed 88 vehicles “disorderly vehicles” and towed them…
