ROCKTON, Ill. (WIFR) – Those who live in Rockton are invited to participate in an upcoming community workshop as the village develops its new Comprehensive Plan.
Village leaders say the plan serves as a roadmap for future growth and development and impacts how and where people live, work and experience Rockton.
Topics for discussion include:
- Existing conditions
- Goals and objectives
- Land use
- Infrastructure
- Transportation
- Public Services
- Recreation
- Natural Resources
The open-house style workshop is planned for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Rockton Community Center, 302 W. Main Street. The public is encouraged to stop in and ask questions, review, maps and share feedback.
