MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A Milwaukee man faces an aggravated battery charge in connection with the November death of 47-year-old Bryan Johnson, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday, Dec. 12.
Prosecutors charged 39-year-old Antoinne Pierre Bellamy with punching Johnson multiple times during a fight Nov. 22 in the area of 11th and Locust. Johnson was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital early Nov. 23 and pronounced dead at 1:20 a.m.
According to the complaint, witnesses said Bellamy made a comment to Johnson that led to an argument. A witness said the two began fighting and Johnson fell to the ground.
