BOISE, Idaho — Crash data from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) highlights several Boise intersections that continue to see a high number of collisions—many of them resulting in injuries. As winter driving approaches, Boise Police are urging drivers to slow down, stay alert, and remember what’s at stake when attention slips behind the wheel.
Where Crashes Are Happening Most
ITD data from 2022, 2023 and 2024 shows several intersections with significant crash activity through early December.

- Orchard & Overland — 21 crashes
- Chinden & Eagle — 19 crashes
- Fairview & Five Mile — 18 crashes
- Entertainment & Overland — 17 crashes
- Fairview & Maple Grove — 17 crashes
When looking at total crashes for the same time-period —injury and non-injury combined—the numbers climb even higher:
