BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A man who spent more than 30 years in prison for a crime he did not commit has filed a lawsuit against Bradley County and several local officials, according to federal court records.
Scott Minton, who was exonerated in January after being wrongly convicted in a 1993 rape and robbery case, filed the lawsuit on December 9 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
