COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A woman is in custody after allegedly hitting a child with a car in Columbia.
The Columbia Police Department said 32-year-old Shanekea Brown was arrested Monday and charged with hit and run, failure to give information and render aid, as well as driving without a license.
According to police, Brown was allegedly driving a dark-colored sedan on Dec. 9 when she hit a 12-year-old trying to cross the street at the 5200 block of Fairfield Road.
