Chapel Hill meal dispute spurs brief missing children concerns; parents split on McDonald’s or local biscuits, police say

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — A disagreement between parents over down-home biscuits and McDonald’s on Sunday led to frightening moments for Chapel Hill first responders.

Around 12:45 p.m. Sunday, calls went out to Chapel Hill authorities and Orange County law enforcement about a missing van with two children still inside the vehicle, according to the Chapel Hill Police Department.
