WILLISTON, Fla. (WCJB) — Who stole Christmas? Levy County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a dispute that broke out during a Christmas toy giveaway at AMVETS Post 444, with organizers and venue members offering conflicting accounts of what happened.

Organizers say members of AMVETS Post 444 had a no trespass order filed against them after a heated argument over allegations that volunteers were stealing donated gifts from families in need.

The organizers were forced to relocate to Bronson Park to finish distributing the remaining toys to families that had not yet received gifts…
