HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams has paid an ethics violation settlement more than a month after its due date.
The mayor agreed to make the $912.70 payment as part of a settlement with the State Ethics Commission after it said she directed city employees to deliver a city-owned dumpster to her home. She was supposed to make the payment by Oct. 22, but on Dec. 5, the commission said it had no receipt for Williams.
