KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Nearly 700 toys were delivered to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital after the third annual “Stack the Sleigh”.
6 News partnered with Anakeesta to collect toys at West Town Mall on Friday. Participants brought new toys to contribute to the drive, ensuring that children will wake up to a little Christmas magic this year. In 2024, 500 toys were collected. This year, that total was topped, and close to 700 toys were donated.

“So this was part of a three-part kind of give back with Anakeesta. So earlier in the month, we delivered tiny trees with several other companies to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital patients. Then we collected toys on Friday for ‘Stack the Sleigh’, and then today we delivered those toys so hospital staff can organize them and get them to the patients,” said Austin Martin with Anakeesta.
Children at ETCH will receive the toys sometime during the week of Christmas. Martin said it was a way of bringing a little bit of holiday cheer to children who might not get to go home for Christmas.
