BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A new documentary series on the disappearance of a recent high school graduate from Alabama that set off a worldwide media frenzy will be coming to Netflix.
The documentary, which will be aired in three parts at an undisclosed date, will cover the case surrounding Natalee Holloway, who disappeared during a senior trip to Aruba in 2005.
For years, Joran van der Sloot was suspected in her death, having been seen leaving with her near a bar on May 30, 2005, the last day she was ever seen.
