Oklahoma County Jail admits woman held nearly five days after judge ordered her release

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma County Jail admits it held a woman behind bars for nearly five days after a judge ordered her released, blaming the delay on a clerical “miscalculation,” even as the woman’s mother says the error could have been caught days earlier if anyone had listened.

The woman spent six weeks in jail serving time for a minor burglary charge she pleaded no contest to.

She completed her sentence and was supposed to be released last week…
