Crawford’s bodyguard holds gun safety workshop after filing suit over Omaha traffic stop

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The bodyguard for boxer Terrence “Bud” Crawford held a gun safety workshop Saturday in North Omaha, teaching community members how to handle police encounters involving firearms.

Qasim Shabazz organized the workshop less than a week after filing a lawsuit against the city of Omaha over a September traffic stop where he, Crawford and two additional passengers were held at gunpoint by police after officers discovered legal firearms in their vehicle.
