Mesa Council delays vote on battery site regs

Mesa City Council last week pushed to January a vote on regulating battery energy storage systems in Mesa to give more time for a compromise.

At issue is a requirement that these facilities must be 1,000 feet from residential uses or zoning, which industry representatives opposed.
