A Coach USA bus jumped the curb in Midtown and slammed into a building on the afternoon of Dec. 11, officials from the FDNY and Department of Buildings said.
It is thus far unclear what caused the crash, The bus driver was hospitalized, and the incident is being deemed an accident.
The bus had just performed a drop-off in front of 101 Park Ave. when it slid over the curb, striking part of the building. It then crashed into already-damaged scaffolding put up around 370 Lexington Ave., destroying roughly 35 feet of it, the DOB told the press…
