CLEVELAND — Residents in the Reserve Square Apartments in downtown Cleveland are stuck in limbo ahead of the Christmas holiday. They don’t have working heat, hot water is scarce, and trash is piling up in the hallways.
“It’s warmer than it has been because the heater’s right here and it’s blowing, but without the heaters, it’s just unlivable,” said Tiffany Barnett, whose mom lives in the complex.
Even with the thermostat turned up — cold air is coming out of the vents… and getting hot water? Well that’s a struggle too…
