CAYCE, S.C. — After years of investigation and repeated attempts by a suspect to evade authorities, a man wanted in connection with a 2021 homicide in Cayce has been taken into custody and charged with murder.
Cayce Police officers responded in the early morning hours of June 14, 2021, to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Westwood Mobile Home Park on Groover Circle. Officers discovered a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head.
