‘We’re still here,’ Hanukkah event increases security following Bondi Beach terror attack

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla (WFLA) — The mass shooting in Australia is weighing on those here at home who are celebrating Hanukkah. Monday, at one of the biggest local Hanukkah gatherings, candles were lit in honor of those who lost their lives.

Organizers said security was increased for the event. They said there was no fear in proceeding with the celebration.
