Person dies after being hit head-on by wrong-way driver in Randolph County, troopers say; charges forthcoming

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — One person is dead after a wrong-way crash in Randolph County on Monday evening, according to the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. on U.S. 421 South near the intersection with Highway 49 south of Liberty, troopers say.
