SPARTA, Mich. (WOOD) — For the past couple of days, people in Sparta have been buzzing about the idea of a data center coming to the village.
Monday night’s planning commission meeting attendance was a reflection of that. However, leaders wanted to clear some things up. This meeting was not about voting for a data center — it was simply to amend language surrounding the idea of a data center in the case that one is proposed in the future.
That updated ordinance, with new defining language, passed in a 6-0 vote.
