SCSO names deputy fired for ‘racially insensitive’ post on social media

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the deputy terminated following a “racially insensitive” social media post made in November.

The agency confirmed that Josh Chrobak was released for a social media post made while he was in uniform and inside a patrol car on duty. He served on the third shift in the Reidville area, working primarily as a field training officer.

The sheriff’s office stated that Chrobak had no prior record of similar behavior.
