KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Rural Metro Fire said crews are investigating the cause of a house fire that claimed the lives of three pets Monday afternoon.
According to Rural Metro, crews went to the fire off Clinton Highway shortly after noon on Monday. There, they found a mobile home with heavy fire in the middle.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread to nearby homes, Rural Metro said.
The only person living in the home and two pets were safely outside when crews arrived on the scene, Rural Metro said, but three pets were found dead in the home…
